Hi TTRW fans, I’m Toby Battle, one half of the Battle Brothers (with my brudda Jack W Williams)!

I love everything about Wrestling, from the cold sweat of battle right through to the warm backstage cut-scenes. I love the diversity of style, the diversity of persona and the diversity of storyline. Unlike most wrestling fans my ideal role in professional wrestling would not be that of a wrestler; nor a manager; nor a referee; nor a commentator. I’d write storylines… for me one of the most fascinating parts of professional wrestling.

Generally, my articles tend to feed into the behind-the-scenes element of professional wrestling and the business-side of things; predominantly because my area of expertise is business, indeed I run my own business. I have the passion for wrestling but lack the same degree of “in-character” knowledge that my colleagues have, so I focus on my strong-suit.

My favourite element of TTRW is the Hall of Fame. All too often HOF’s become exclusive to whatever promotion happens to be running it. TTRW is a refreshing difference, celebrating all talent from all times and all corners of the Professional Wrestling Universe (That’s right Vince, it’s bigger than just WWE)! Further, most HOF’s tend to run out of entries and therefore start admitting individuals just to make the numbers up- devaluing the prestige of the group. TTRW is again refreshingly different, with each admission being approved following intensive consideration, if there isn’t a viable candidate, there won’t be an admission.

Away from wrestling my interests include business, football, comedy, good films, espionage, soul music and a cool blend of food and alcohol.
