THE DUDLEY BOYZ SAY FAREWELL TO WWE
At first it seemed like another "goodbye" moment, Followed by a return a couple of weeks later, But the departure of the Dudley Boyz from WWE is as legit as it comes. The speculation was that with a new contract allegedly being sign recently, The two would remain with the company, However, the two sides amicably agreed to part ways as the contracts had not yet been officially executed. The team since returning to WWE, have had a terrible run with a record of over 50 losses and only a handful of wins. The once challenging team of Bubba Ray and Devon (D'von) have become enhancement workers for the tag division, With losses to even the randomly paired Neville and Sami Zayn among many odd pairings in the WWE tag division since their return.
They are said to be in a position where a return to the company is not ruled out, With the proverbial door being left open for a future return, and a match scenario is ready with Gallows and Anderson as their targets. The Dudleyz and WWE agreed that they would do an angle with the Shining Stars and Gallows & Anderson, With the latter ruining the Dudley's final moments.
After their final RAW moments, Bubba and D-Von returned to the backstage area to be greeted and receive a standing ovation by the entire RAW lockeroom, WWE Officials and the McMahon's.
In regards to WWE announcing their final departure, WWE wrote the following hyping their RAW retirement; "One night after yet another miscommunication cost The Dudley Boyz a victory during the SummerSlam Kickoff, the most decorated tag team in sports-entertainment history will evidently be saying their farewells to the WWE Universe tonight, live on Raw.For more than 20 years, Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley have been among the most dominant tag teams in the world. They returned to WWE one year ago to earn their 10th tag team championship in WWE — a quest that was ultimately and unfortunately unsuccessful. Nevertheless, there will never be another tandem in sports-entertainment like The Dudley Boyz. Find out how Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley will cap off their legendary career tonight on Raw, beginning at 8/7 C on USA Network."
FINAL DELETION PART II BEING PREPARED
After the monumental success of The Final Deletion, TNA and the Hardy's are going for a sequel to the extravagant performance in the first part with a follow up, But this time with the Broken Hardy's reuniting to take on the demented faction of Decay, with the "Monster" Abyss, Crazzy Steve and Rosemary, In what promises to be Bigger, Better, and more Insane that the first.
New footage has been recently filmed at Matt Hardy's compound, The place where the original Final Deletion took place. This new footage is to air in the upcoming episodes of Impact Wrestling, During the lead up to Bound For Glory, Where The Broken Hardy's will take on Decay for the TNA World Tag Team Championships. One source claims that the Final Deletion II, will “blow away the first one.”
BRET HART LATEST ANALYSIS ON SETH ROLLINS
If there is anybody that you can rely on for accurate opinions or thoughts on Professional wrestling from, Its Bret "Hitman" Hart. His insight and sheer and vast knowledge on Wrestling is extra ordinary. Bret has once again given criticism on Seth Rollins for his dangerous and often "Careless" work style, Most notably and recently with Finn Balor at SummerSlam. Here are Bret's exact words on the match and Seth; "I take no great pleasure in saying 'I told you so,' but if you’re a professional wrestler and you keep hurting opponents and or yourself, clearly you’re doing it wrong. I wrestled a very realistic and physical style and not once in 23 yrs did I ever hurt one opponent ever. Seth Rollins needs to improve his technique and become the safest wrestler in the business. I have great respect for Seth. I believe he’ll improve and hopefully stop hurting the talent before someone gets killed. Wrestlers have to trust one another. If a wrestler holds the life of another wrestler in his hands for the sake of his family, wife or children you plain and simply cannot drop it!I saw this coming, if anything WWE producers are negligent for not speaking up about it to him already, instead they’re probably gushing with joy, slapping him on the back telling him “great job!” Bill Goldberg was similar. When I think of Samoa Joe nearly killing Tyson Kidd, then see him continuing to use that deadly finish of his, I just shake my head. It’s not real, it’s only supposed to look real, wrestlers are not crash test dummies!"
CODY WAS TOLD BY DUSTY TO LEAVE WWE YEARS AGO
Cody Rhodes, who has now launched his career outside of WWE, has revealed that his father Dusty had told him to leave WWE years ago. Cody said the following; "I know he would have supported it because he told me to ask for my release after WrestleMania 28, I waited until WrestleMania 32 to take his advice. At 28, I recalled particularly, he was unhappy with the direction things were going with me and Big Show, and he just thought that I was so close to the keys to the kingdom, and they were slipping away, that maybe leaving would wake them to the idea that this is somebody who wanted to captain your ship and the way you guys are treating him has pushed him out. But it seemed at the time like kind of a leopard's play, so it just didn't interest me. I wanted to stick it out, and I always tried to not take Pop's advice, because he's my dad, so the advice always came from that part of his heart, not the businessman part of his mind, but his heart, and actually at the end of my WWE career, he was right that I should have made that decision maybe a little sooner."
VINCE MCMAHON PANIC AT LAST WEEKS RAW
With the now former Universal champion Finn Balor to be on the shelf for four to six months, John Cena out to film a new series of American Grit, and the drama of the Y2J and Lesnar altercation at SummerSlam, Vince McMahon was in a "Full blown panic" at last weeks RAW. However, one thing was said to have made the Chairman perk up, Was the well received debut of NXT call-up Bayley in her first match against Dana Brooke.
Even with this bit of good news for McMahon, He has still had to have meetings with WWE Officials and Triple H to discuss further potential call ups from NXT, due to the absences of several top stars.
Its worth mentioning that Vince reportedly see's Bayley as another AJ Lee, and Vince was high on her, So its in Bayley's favour.
HEADBANGERS RETURNING TO SMACKDOWN LIVE
Due to the Brands of RAW and SmackDown Live taking a massive blow due to stars unwilling to return and the ever thinning rosters due to the Draft and the dreaded injury list, WWE have resorted to bringing back the Attitude Era tag team The Headbangers, Consisting of Mosh and Thrasher.
The eccentric duo will be working the SmackDown Live brand and will be the surprise last tag team in the SmackDown Tag Team Championships tourney to crown the Inaugural champions. Chaz Warrington, known as Mosh of The Headbangers, made a post on his official Facebook page stating that his dream “to wrestle one more time in a WWE ring” is coming true next week on SmackDown. The post has since been removed, but Chaz went on to say that the opportunity is a “dream come true”, as it will be the first and possibly last time his son is old enough to watch him perform in a WWE ring. The two have not competed in a match on WWE TV together since May of 2000.
VELVET SKY SUGGESTS BULLY RAY IS NOT WWE MATERIAL
The real life girlfriend of Mark LoMonaco, (aka Bubba Ray Dudley or Bully Ray), Velvet Sky, has responded to a fan on Twitter who said WWE dropped the ball on not bringing in the Bully Ray character, By saying that a watered down Bully Ray would just ruin the whole point of the Bully Ray character, And she also teased a return of the Bully Ray character. Velvet said the following along with a photo of Bubba as the Bully Ray character; "Has anyone seen this man? Been trying real hard to locate him...💀⭐️ #NotPG". "The Bully Ray character is #NotPG. It wouldn't work there. Watered down Bully Ray = No."

FINN BALOR INJURED, OUT FOR UP TO 6 MONTHS
It has been no longer than 3 months since Finn Balor has arrived on the Main Roster, and already his RAW career is halted due to an injury sustained during his SummerSlam match against Seth Rollins for the inaugural Universal Championship title. The first ever, and now former Universal champion, after having to relinquish the title on the episode of RAW just one night after SummerSlam because of a shoulder and arm injury sustained at the hands of Seth Rollins.
Finn Balor, who was dressed in a sling at the episode of RAW, has since undergone surgery on last Wednesday to repair his damaged arm and shoulder. Sadly, Balor is estimated to be out from anywhere from four to six months on the shelf recovering from the operation.
The move that caused the damage is widely argued, but two moves in particular stand out, One being the running powerbomb into the fans barricade, and the other being the package piledriver. After the piledriver, Balor was seen clearly clutching his right shoulder and arm, and after winning the title, he did not raise his arm in victory as usually wrestlers would do.
WWE's Doctor, Dr. Jeffrey Dugas commented on Balor's operation and noted that the injury was more severe than normal. Dugas said: "Finn's injury was pretty severe, more severe than normal. A really high energy injury, it did more damage than a standard shoulder dislocation where you simply tear the labrum. The prognosis is excellent, however. We were able to fix it all and put it back where it came from. I'm anticipating him getting back at full speed." It has been expected that Balor would be out of action for four to sixth months but WWE did not include an updated timeframe in their latest report.
There was some concern at RAW that he could be out of action for a few months longer than that. WWE has updated their announcement confirming the injury to WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor, who relinquished his title on RAW.
WWE released this statement regarding Balor's injury: "WWE.com can confirm. The injury came in the course of Balor and Rollins' match to determine which Superstar would become the first WWE Universal Champion, specifically when Balor absorbed a running powerbomb to the barricade at the hands of The Architect."He hit the wall during the match, dislocated his shoulder and was able to put it back in himself in a split second," said ringside physician Dr. Chris Robinson. Balor was able to finish the match, but Dr. Robinson noted that an MRI yielded results earlier today showing "a possible labrum tear."The champion is currently scheduled to receive a surgical consult that will determine the extent of Balor's injury and what his recovery time will be. If surgery and rehab are required, Robinson said, Balor could be facing a recovery time of "anywhere from four to six months."Raw General Manager Mick Foley tweeted that he and Commissioner Stephanie McMahon would "accept" Balor's forfeiture of his championship tonight on Raw."
Finn Balor tweeted this along photo from surgery today: "Sunday - Win the Title at #SummerSlam / Monday - Relinquish the Title at #Raw / Tuesday - Surgery / Wednesday - day 1."
JERICHO VS LESNAR BACKSTAGE AT SUMMERSLAM
After the shoot like match with Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton at SummerSlam, Chris Jericho like many millions of fans was taken in to believe that the match between the Viper and the Beast was a shoot fight, With Orton getting split open quite badly, Which ultimately ended the match via TKO. However, it backstage where it became heated, With Y2J becoming very concerned about Randy Orton getting beaten up for real by Lesnar.
Sources say Jericho was acting as a locker room leader who truly believed Brock had attacked Randy Orton during the main event, and Y2J was looking for answers. Chris was repeatedly asking Michael Hayes how the finish was going to be, but Hayes remained mute. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer noted that Brock Lesnar's match finishes are usually kept very quiet.
When Brock came back through the curtain and overheard Jericho say this was “bullsh*t”, This made Brock loudly tell Y2J that this was none of his business. This provoked Jericho, he continued asking questions, causing Lesnar to push him. This led to Jericho getting in the face of Lesnar. Then Brock kissed him on the forehead at that point and then told Jericho to "kiss me back, P***y". This only made the situation worse, As Jericho did not back down and was ready to fight with Brock. Brock responded, with his arms behind his back, saying “hit me or kiss me, bitch”, which was the signal for everyone in the area including Triple H to separate the two. Despite the separation, things were still hot, which caused for Vince McMahon coming in and moving Lesnar away from Chris. McMahon told Chris to be more professional, to which Chris said Lesnar was the unprofessional one who started “shooting” on his co-worker. Vince said, “It’s a work! What’s wrong with you?!”. This means that the match was indeed planned to go as it went, and was not changed due to Orton being cut open. This also means that WWE went with the blade job option, which is something that they rarely ever do these days.
Shortly after the big altercation, Chris and Brock went their separate ways backstage. A source revealed that they believe Jericho had all the right intentions, but many believe he handled things completely wrong due to his veteran like position on the roster. When Randy Orton came through the curtain, he reassured Jericho that it was a work and he knew what was going to happen in the match.
Notes: Lesnar called Jericho a bunch of names that would get him into serious trouble if it came out.
Dave Meltzer noted that Lesnar's job was to cut Orton open, which happened. He also said that there likely won't be any repercussions for neither Lesnar nor Jericho.
People backstage in WWE were talking about what a "badass" Chris Jericho was for stepping up to Brock Lesnar after the match with Orton at WWE SummerSlam. They noted that Jericho "backed" Lesnar up during the altercation, and at that point Lesnar made a remark that Jericho should either punch him or kiss him. They also noted that there didn't appear to be any heat on Jericho at the following episode of RAW over the incident.
FINN BALOR'S ORIGINAL SUMMERSLAM PLANS
While Finn Balor has gone from a standard feud to a World title victory at SummerSlam, the original plan for Balor was to have a rivalry with Y2J Chris Jericho, Who WWE relies on to test the level of the new stars, But because of Vince McMahon having a high opinion on Balor, He ended up going over Seth Rollins for the Universal title at SummerSlam.
SASHA BANKS INJURY UPDATES
Sasha Banks dropped the WWE Women's Title at SummerSlam to Charlotte as she needs time off to deal with a back injury. Sasha has been scheduled to be back in action at WWE live events in late September. The Wrestling Observer reports there's a good chance Sasha won't be out of action very long as she will not be undergoing surgery.
The original plan had been for Sasha to win the title at SummerSlam, But plans changed and Sasha won the title on the post draft episode of RAW instead due to her plans of having time off. Reports suggest that Sasha has had pains in the lower lumbar section of her back, and is set to have an evaluation at the beginning of September.
Dave Meltzer reported on the Wrestling Observer that Sasha was obviously not slated to win the title and lose it so quickly, and that the story of her being injured is legitimate.

WRESTLER INTERVIEWS
DREW GALLOWAY
- On his WWE departure: "I was surprised, but I literally sat down within the first hour and came up with a mission statement. The mission statement was to show the world the real Drew Galloway, what I can do in the ring and on the microphone."
- On his WWE tenure: "I wasn't ready to be that guy at 24 years old, but I'm more than ready to be that guy now at 31 years old with 16 years experience."On how he wants people to see wrestling: "I'm playing to the dads in the audience, The kids are already invested and they believe in it, and hopefully the moms are invested, too. I'm trying to reach the dads who don't necessarily want to be there and are going, 'Oh, here we go; it's fake wrestling. I have to sit through four hours of this.' "I want them to go, 'I'm not sure about that wrestling, but when Drew Galloway was out there, he was kicking everybody's ass. I didn't see him stomping his feet or slapping his leg, but I did see welts appearing when he hit the guy.'"
- On signing with TNA despite not planning on going on TV wrestling: "I had no intention of getting back on TV. I just wanted to be out of the spotlight and make my name on the underground," Galloway said. "But [TNA executive vice president of creative and talent relations] John Gaburick called me and said some really complimentary things. I was very adamant about not being back on television, but his exact words were, 'Drew, I'm not taking no for an answer.'"
- On spreading TNA's name by defending the title around the globe: "My goal was that if people in other countries liked what they saw with me, hopefully they would give these companies a chance."
- On Kurt Angle wanting Drew to tap him out on Angle's last TNA UK tour: "When he told me about the match and said I was going to tap him out, I tried to argue with him, but he was pretty adamant about really wanting to put me over in that way, I can never thank him enough for what he's done for me."
- On being a lockeroom leader: "Having been in the WWE system for so long, as well as wrestling in the U.K. for six years and learning from the veterans there, I feel like it's my responsibility to pass on this knowledge even though I'm younger than some of the guys who are asking me for advice and calling me sir," he said with a laugh.
- On leaving WWE: "I probably had a chip on my shoulder at first, but that's not a factor for me at all at this point, I'm just trying to make a difference in the companies I work for, and I've seen the difference, from attendance going up to the fans' response."All I ever wanted was to be a wrestler, and I think I'm the only guy who travels back and forth this much between the U.S. and the U.K. and is part of several different TV companies, so I'm very fortunate and I'm really only in competition with myself."
As for his future goals, Galloway said he would love to wrestle someday for a promotion in Japan, where he likely would be big attraction due to his look and style.
- On returning to WWE: "Never say never, I can't possibly say I'll never go back there, but I can say that I'm very happy right now doing what I'm doing."
SHANE MCMAHON
- On doing another match: "If it's the right scenario, I'm pretty much healed up from WrestleMania, but I'll tell you what. At 46 [years old], it takes a whole lot longer to heal and get ready. But again, if everyone, if they want it, and if it's warranted, then absolutely. I can dust off my stuff again and go after it. It's a thrill."
- On the King Of The Ring (2001) street fight with Kurt Angle: "I was very proud of the match, first and foremost. [I] got in there with an amazing talent, which was Kurt and we went after it. One of the things that I always try to do is, I always try to go out and give my absolute best and I approach everything that this is my last match and I always did it that way. So, again, growing up in the [professional wrestling] business and seeing so many of the greats and truly witnessing amazing matches, I always hoped in my mind that I'd have an opportunity to even scratch the surface and even attempt to have one of those matches. So that's how I approached every single thing, every match that I've ever done. Some click more than others, but Stan Hansen said at the [WWE] Hall Of Fame you need great opponents. And right story, Kurt and I clicked, and we went after it. And, again, I am very proud of the match."
- On Kurt Angle returning to WWE and if he'd like to compete with Angle again:"I don't know enough about Kurt over the last several years. I don't know where his health is or any of those issues. But again, if you rewind the clock and go back to the time we had with Kurt Angle and I at The King Of The Ring. Personally, I'd love to do that again. I'd give that a shot. But again, sometimes the business, as we get older, unfortunately, in the business, the brain will say 'go' and the body will say 'no'. And at some point, there's a time you just have to pick a different path."
LANCE STORM
- Storm noted that the reliance of "holy sh-t, oh my God!" moves are leading to a lot more injuries. "When you're throwing someone backwards at stuff who is partially obstructed... I've seen guys, if you come a little short, they bang their head on the barricade, too high you hit your back and fold yourself the wrong way," Storm said.
- Storm said that by watching the replays, it looked like Finn was coming up a little short and he reached back with his arm to take the top of the barricade to try to help catch himself, which led to the injury. Storm noted that both Finn and Rollins are good enough to have great matches without these kinds of high risk moves.
- On Seth Rollins bucklebomb: "When your moves have a high risk but the risk is on you, I don't mind it as much," Storm noted, citing Tommy Dreamer as an example of someone who took a lot of risks, but that he was always putting himself at risk. "But when you're throwing guys backwards, the risk is all on him and I don't like stuff like that. I didn't like it when Sting took the buckle-bomb, and I don't like it when other guys take the buckle bomb."
