Thanks to its new management, Impact has partnered with the iconic World of Sport Wrestling promotion in the UK, the giant Lucha Libre AAA and Crash Luchas in Mexico, Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan, Global Force Wrestling that Jarrett built several years back, Border City Wrestling and the Can-Am Wrestling Dojo run by Scott D'Amore. And they are not stopping there, with more partnerships on the way. The new AAA relationship will feature talent exchanges, and other projects that haven't yet been specified. As for the World of Sport deal, Impact and Anthem [Parent of Impact] have partnered with ITV [British TV channel] to revive the show, and Impact's Jeff Jarrett has become the executive producer for a new ten part series of the legendary British Wrestling brand that will air on Saturday afternoons. Some sources have revealed that the two sides have been in talks since August of 2016, and they have been slowly progressing. Reports say that WWE wants to obtain the ROH TV library that includes matches of their tops stars in AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Cesaro, Daniel Bryan, Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens, whilst also removing a top rival company. However, the recently reported plan is for a full takeover of ROH, that would include the weekly TV show of ROH being aired on the WWE Network, but high ranking ROH official Joe Koff of ROH has quashed the rumours. Koff, during a CBS report on this story, said outright that there is "there is no story here." Koff was asked about WWE buying the ROH tape library, but has made it clear in the past that happening was unlikely; "I'm always open to any conversation," said Koff. "We do business with them if they want to do a DVD or VOD if they need footage from early matches they do come to us. We are open to work with them on that basis because it doesn't hurt us. It actually helps us." Koff was then asked whether ROH will stream on WWE Network; "No, no, no, no, It's very flattering and humbling to us. It validates what we've done. A lot of their current performers and stars are ROH guys and we have their history. So maybe the content of the backstories of Kevin Steen before he became Kevin Owens or AJ Styles' run in Ring of Honor, Tyler Black (aka Seth Rollins), Claudio (Castagnoli aka Cesaro) … all of the guys who have wrestled for us. We have their backstory and where it began… That's our content."Plus, Top ROH talents The Young Bucks said on Twitter making it clear from their position; "ROH isn't going anywhere. Besides, we'd buy it first anyway with all our merch money."

Lawler said on the second episode of Dinner with the King, Jerry said; "Yes, I do own [the library]," Lawler said.
