SETH ROLLINS INJURED BY DEBUTING SAMOA JOE

In a night of shocks, Seth Rollins has re-injured his right knee on the RAW following the Royal Rumble Pay Per View. The injury happened during the main roster debut of Samoa Joe. After a long beatdown on the outside of the ring, Joe brought Seth into the ring and applied the Rear Naked Choke. It was the takedown for the submission hold where Rollins suffered the injury. From the footage of the move, Joe pulled Seth down before Seth could get into position, and Rollins' leg bent sideways as to falling backwards as the most common attempts of the Rear Naked Choke see.

Seth has since been evaluated in hospital at Birmingham, Alabama, But it's not clear as to whether his big match with Triple H at WrestleMania is still in the balance, as tests suggest he will be out for an estimated eight weeks. The prior injury to his right leg saw him tear the ACL, MCL and medial meniscus in his knee during a Live event match with Kane back in November of 2015. Rollins also had to miss WrestleMania 32 aswell.

Rollins posted the following to his fans on his Twitter account: "Wanted to take a second to thank everyone who has reached out to me over the last two days. Life doesn't always go your way, but that is no excuse to surrender. If anything, obstacles exist to help us grow and evolve. This reinjury to my surgically repaired knee is real and a lot is up in the air right now, but one thing remains constant: my resolve. This doesn't end for me until I've reclaimed the throne. And for me, fighting and defeating Triple H is the only way. I will work harder than I ever have and push myself beyond what I know. This isn't over. The only way to wear the crown is to slay the king. I know what must be done and there's nothing that can stop me."
