I'm sure like most of you, My favourite matches and favourite stars change all the time, But as of this writing, I feel that these come to mind first.
1. Dean Malenko vs. Eddie Guerrero [ECW '95]
2. Chris Benoit vs. Bret Hart [Owen Hart WCW Tribute Match]
3. Eddie Edwards vs. Matt Sydal [Impact Wrestling 2017]
4. Iron Man Match for WWF Championship: Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart [WrestleMania 12]
5. Monsters Ball Match: Rhyno vs. Abyss vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Sabu [Bound for Glory 2005]
Honourable Mentions: Full Metal Mayhem for TNA World Tag Team Championship: The Wolves (Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards) vs. The Hardy's (Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy) vs. Team 3D (Bully Ray & Devon) [Impact 2015], Owen Hart vs. Bret Hart at WrestleMania 10, Kurt Angle vs. Abyss [Turning Point], and Kurt Angle vs. Lashley [Kurt Angle TNA Farewell Tour]
The first match I've chose is the Eddie Guerrero vs. Dean Malenko classic from 1995 in ECW. I can't be exact as to the date of the match in particular, as they had several clashes at that time. But the one I'm thinking of, was a pure mat classic, that excelled in every aspect. Everything that a pro wrestling match should be, topped off by a respectful ECW crowd who hung on every move and every turn. Secondly, The Bret Hart vs. Chris Benoit match in WCW that was in memory of Owen Hart, who sadly passed away not long prior. The match was just what you'd expect, Technical masters colliding in a true thriller. While the overhanging thought during the match was the tragic passing of Owen, The two in the ring did him justice with a match that he would have loved. Next up, Is a classic from Impact Wrestling in 2017, Between two greats of the ring, Eddie Edwards and Matt Sydal. This match was beautifully presented and was so exciting to watch. This match as soon as I saw it was going to go into my top ten matches of all time. Alot of wrestlers in the sport have gone to the sixty minute mark, and well over, But few have been a technical, lengthy classic like Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. The creation made at WrestleMania 12 has stood the test of time as the birth of Shawn Michaels' main event career, and cementing Bret's place as a bonafide legend. And finally, It is the Monsters Ball Match from Bound for Glory 2005 between Rhyno, Abyss, Jeff Hardy and Sabu. While hardcore matches aren't usually my thing, This match certainly sticks in my mind for it's amazing stunts and incredible array of characters. Four legends of wrestling combined into one iconic match at the iconic Bound for Glory stage. Jeff Hardy did the most dangerous dive I've ever seen, From the commentary of Don West and Mike Tenay, to the camera angles, to the ballsy stars going to the wire, This match was amazing.

If I had to list my top five favourite matches of all time it would be something like this: Ricky Steamboat vs Randy Savage (WM3), Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker (WM25), Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio (Halloween Havoc 98) one of the best of either of their careers, Chris Jericho vs Shawn Michaels (WM 19), The Rock vs Mankind (Royal Rumble 99) a lot of other matches were close behind it.

First up, I've got Abyss vs. Brian Kendrick [Destination X], The story telling and the importance of the match made for a thrilling contest. The fear of the longstanding and legendary X-Division becoming extinct at the hands of Abyss and the Immortal faction, spearheaded by Eric Bischoff's hatred for the smaller wrestlers. When the tides turned and Kendrick looked to win, the run in from Immortal led to the X-Division roster coming out for the save, leading to Kendrick picking up the win. Secondly, I have Chavo Guerrero vs. Chris Benoit from Armageddon 2006. This match was a great classic between two incredible stars, and the latter picking up the much deserved win. Thirdly, I have Jeff Hardy vs. Austin Aries in the ladder match. This was a brutal war between two amazing stars, that included Jeff's crazy ladder bumps that still to this day send shocks up my spine when I see them. Number four goes to Randy Savage vs. The Ultimate Warrior [WM7]. I loved this clash between two of the three iconic faces of the WWF at the time. Finally, Number five spot goes to Eddie Edwards vs. Davey Richards at TNA One Night Only: Xtravaganza III.
