Asking a wrestling fan what his or her favourite WrestleMania match of all time is is a difficult question to ask... But we did it! The question was relayed to several members of Through The Ropes, and Wrestling Express's Michael Clinco, and learn what their favourite is!
MICHAEL CLINCO [WRESTLING EXPRESS]
"I think most people would go for either Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels or Ricky Steamboat vs Randy Savage, but I think that Jericho vs Michaels would be my favorite. Partially I think that that match is my favorite is just a little different, but also take a look at the build for their Wrestlemania 19 match. The build and the match really showed that Shawn Michaels was still Shawn Michaels & this is the match that in my opinion truly put Chris Jericho on another level. It is for all these reasons that Jericho vs Michaels is my favorite Wrestlemania match."
JACK WILLIAMS [THROUGH THE ROPES]
"As Michael mentioned in his piece, the ones that most would go for would most likely be the Steamboat/Savage or Undertaker/Michaels matches, but for me it has to be Bret "Hitman" Hart versus Shawn Michaels bout for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 12. The sixty minute classic still resounds in my mind to this day. The passion in this match was off of the scale, as you can clearly see how much the match meant to Bret in the end as he clearly wasn't happy about walking out at the loser of this contest. It was a brutal match on the body's of both men, but they pulled it out of the bag on that night, I doubt many could have lasted a full hour whilst keeping the full attention of the fans and keeping up the amazing WRESTLING that they did."
MARK CONNOR [THROUGH THE ROPES]
"Straight to it. Owen vs Bret. Brother vs brother in the ring. It wasn't the main event, but it should have been. It was a wrestling exhibition of the highest order. True skill and ability was displayed in that ring, and it showed. It was a real shame that this couldn't have ended the "Show of shows" as it could very well be the best WrestleMania match of ALL TIME, period!"
