"WWE really needs an off season, That is the answer many people believe will help prevent the pile-up of injuries to the WWE roster, but is having an off season really the way to go about protecting the stars?
Pro Wrestling isn't a healthy sport, It breaks the body down in each move let alone each match. When you look at other sports similar in treatment to the body such as Boxing or MMA, The gap between the fights is far greater than that of pro wrestler's, especially a wrestler who works a grueling WWE schedule. I believe that the WWE schedule is responsible for the breakdown's of Jeff Hardy and Kurt Angle leading to their departures in the 00's.
The best way to go about it would be to cut the number of live event dates their talents work per week, This allows the stars to be able to perform better in the televised matches and gives them a bit of a break. While live events give the WWE an income, the sheer amount that they run is far too much.
WWE make a lot of money as it is without the need to cripple their workhorses anymore than the business already takes out on them."
