The match featured excitement, Shocks and twists, And big stipulations to match. The No holds barred match rule meant Bully Ray and his goons from the Aces and Eights could run rough shot any time they wanted...And they did! Sting made a deal with Bully Ray to get a shot at the World Championship at TNA's annual long running PPV, Slammiversary.
The Deal was that if Sting lost the match, He would never wrestle for the title ever again, However if he won, He would win the world title and take back control from the Aces and Eights. Bully Accepted the challenge and the wager, And ultimately won the match, But not without controversy.
The match featured the return of the banned move, the Piledriver, The ring being dismantled, And the betrayal of Mr Anderson, Who Turned his back on Bully Ray and the group. This battle was not a technical one by any stretch, And it never was going to be, With the heavy hitting brawler Bully Ray and the Icon Sting who is good at both Brawls and Technical confrontations. The bout was a war of who could last the longest, With both men throwing everything but the kitchen sink to be victorious, But it did have a few good Submission holds.
The most breathtaking moment of the match happened on two occasions, One being the Bully Ray Piledriver on Sting on the Exposed boards of the ring, When Bully ripped the padding off of the ring. Then Number two being Bully Ray hitting Sting in the head with a ball peen Hammer when Sting jumped off of the top rope.
