Review: TNA World Title Series (14/01/2016)

2015 proved to be a big and risky year for TNA Impact Wrestling. When they decided to do a World Title Series, Which happened due to the now former World Heavyweight Champion, Matt Hardy, Relinquishing the title due to an injunction filed by the previous champion, Ethan Carter III.

It was a big gamble for the people at TNA as the Group play and the battles to determine the final four of the World Title Series were taped many months prior to the announcement, Meaning that each weeks episode featured older matches from earlier in the year. This put many people off due to the way it was done, But however, it filtered the real die hard fans of TNA from the occasional drifter who tunes in just to mock the product on the Internet. While the matches were not fresh of each week, They were exciting and thrilling to watch with thirty two of TNA's finest battled to get in the final four and eventually win the big one, The TNA World championship.

Due to the sheer size and layout of the tournament, The other titles in the company were put on the back burner until the new year, When the series would be down to the semi finals and the finals meaning more room on the card for more matches. It was a gamble that payed off for TNA as nearly everybody came out looking good or fairly positive into the new year, With even the eliminated wrestlers coming off strong by picking up important wins in the group play sessions over the Champions of the Knockouts, Tag Team and X-Division respectively.
