This will come off as strong, And wrong In many people's eyes, But from the right angle, You will see what I'm getting at. Bray Wyatt, Without the fancy gimmick failed to do anything with his in-ring abilities, This is the same as going on the X-Factor without even sang once. Nepotism (Passing down the jobs and ranks through the family) is what gave him the WWE job, not his talents. He was a nothing, And still is a nothing, But when he was given a piece of paper and a voice, He became the brightest and most popular superstar on the roster.
Bret Hart or Shawn Michaels didn't need a gimmick to prove that they were the best pro wrestlers, And sadly today, The majority of wrestling fans and aspiring wrestlers are taught that you just need to have character and you'll make it.
Pro wrestling is about talented performers putting on actual wrestling, not just talking drivel like "Promos" and waffling about anything other than wrestling! This man has no belonging in a pro wrestling ring, If he is seen as a good actor, he can go to the movies and become an actor, But why in gods name is that lump of nothing taking up a place on the roster from someone like Joe Hennig (Curtis Axel), Or Cesaro, Who are two of the most technically sound performers of the century but are not the best talkers, who are yet to be truly discovered are buried under the pile? Bray was once asked why he wanted to be a WWE superstar, And he said; "If you have a voice like mine, that I want to project and I want people to hear, millions and millions of people watch this show every week," Wyatt said. "If you have a childhood dream to change the world, it's the perfect outlet." Proof from the man himself that he has no business or desire to Wrestle!, But to be an actor.
Along with Bray Wyatt are the Wyatt family, Who as individuals are useless at best. The phrase "Good worker for a big man" has been thrown around so often that it has lost its once respectful meaning, But for such like Kane, Or Matt Morgan, Who truly were amazing talents for bigger athletes, It was truly fitting, But someone like Erick Rowan or Braun Strowman, Its demeaning and an insult.
