The Big Question: Banning Wrestling Moves?

"Broken necks, spines, legs, arms, and sometimes even death, Professional wrestling isn't a safe sport, even if the most dangerous moves are banned. Many feel that some moves should be banned because of how dangerous they are, but I'd like to use a comparison. Professional Wrestling is like Formula One car racing. Both are extremely dangerous, and both can result in the worst possible outcome, death, or even paralysis, and much like one another, Those who decide to enter the profession accept that. They know the risks, and they still play it, and to take away dangerous moves is simply taking away the thrill and the whole backbone of the sport. If they don't want to do it, they don't have to.

Nothing or no one forces people to wrestle, it is their choice, as is the same in F1. In F1, the inclusion of over-the-top safety procedures and having a team in your ear telling you how to drive has gone so far that the thrill and the skill of racing has been taken away, thus killing the whole point of racing as drivers no longer have to do anything but steer. In the olden days of racing, the risk of death was extremely high in every single race, But that was the time when racing was at its best, it was a time of skill and having to perform at your best to prevent accidents and mistakes, and the same thing goes with wrestling. By banning moves that are considered dangerous, you may aswell just have them wrapped in bubble wrap and compete on top of safety mats and have done with it. These men and women as I say know the risks, As did the sports all time great, late great Ayrton Senna, who sadly passed away during a race in Italy in the 90's.
