Under The Spotlight XVI The Hardy's (19/12/2015)

When it came from the lips of The Olympic Gold Medalist, Kurt Angle, that the WWE would not budge on the contractual agreement that would see Angle compete on a full time basis and not on a limited schedule which Angle requested, It has shown us that the WWE would not be the best place for an older talent looking for a lighter schedule. Even with a neck that has been broken more times than humanly possible, The WWE were reluctant to give Angle the deal he was looking for, And that includes the "Supposedly more lenient" Triple H.

Which brings to mind what sort of contract that the company would offer the similar physically worn Hardy boys if the two sides began talks. Sadly when Jeff suffered a severe injury earlier this year, It has proven to be the reason for Jeff to tone down, Not to be cheesy, His Extreme, High risk style which has used for years now. There have never been wrestlers quite like The Hardys, Both Style or Personality wise, And that is what makes the Hardys formula work so well, But with the announcement that Jeff will be toning down the suicidal moveset that he has used for well over a decade, It makes you wonder why he would even consider the WWE after the way they wouldn't compromise for the then Forty Five year old Kurt Angle.

The recent contracts of Jeff Hardy with TNA Wrestling have been ones that Jeff has been reportedly pleased with, With the conditions that he is able to do all of the action in one go and then have a month or so rest. Which he spends living his other life away from wrestling which he enjoys as much as wrestling itself, And the WWE wouldn't probably allow the same leniency with them being live every week, Plus the fact that they wouldn't let Jeff have a light schedule like others such as Lesnar and the Undertaker considering they already have a huge line up of Stars on part time contracts and big money.Jeff Hardy recently stated at Wrestlecade event that he would love to return to the WWE on a full time contract when he's all healed up, But would it be worth it? And the Same goes for Matt?

The returns of Legends and Big Stars in the WWE over the past few years have been happening every other episode. Whether it was the Dudleys, Bubba Ray and D'von, Or the return of The Undertaker at other PPVs other than Wrestlemania, The returns have proven that the WWE is panicking as their ratings continue to plummet through all of their efforts. When you look at all of the stars that have returned to the WWE, They have 99% of the time either been lost in the shuffle, Only used for promos or shows, Or just taken for granted as a product of WWE and not used, And this is true, Here are just a few of the names who were given huge comebacks or debuts, only to be used as a reason to sell T-Shirts and Merchandise, or just used for nothing.

Rob Van Dam - Big Return at Money in the Bank, Then just got lost in the Shuffle. Chris Jericho - Used just to add a another match to a PPV card. Batista - Brought back, Won the Royal Rumble and the fans turn on him, WWE then toss him aside. Bubba Ray Dudley - Returned to feud with New Day, Nothing major now but used to fill up the card. D'Von Dudley - Returned to feud with New Day, Nothing major now but used to fill up the card. Hulk Hogan - Big Return, Only to be used as a T Shirt seller and to Promote shows. Sting - Used to put over Triple H, Seth Rollins and gets injured in the process for nothing more than a grand entrance and a couple of matches, Now is rarely even mentioned.

With the Majority of the WWE's Fans are just entertainment fans, So if Jeff and Matt return to the WWE. They will just have to do countless spots just to get the crowds attention, Where as at TNA they are respected for their other abilities, Like their mat wrestling skills for instance. In the WWE they would just get taken for granted by the WWE fans after a few appearances just like the Dudley's, Sting and Chris Jericho all have done.
