Why The WWE is Everything that's Wrong with Pro Wrestling (26/07/16)

Pro Wrestling is without doubt about enjoyment, Some sprinkling of Banter and obviously skilled wrestlers, But when a Pro wrestling show is almost all talking, And pathetic 1 minute squash matches, Something is seriously wrong. They say that we need squash matches to put over wrestlers, But if they had the talents to begin with, they wouldn't need squash matches. The Squash matches are just boring, And a waste of time, Especially in a major promotion that's supposed to be the where the big boys and big girls play.

Even in the 90's, The squash matches were useless, And to continue using them is just a farse. The WWE from the mid nineties on-wards is the definition of everything that's wrong with pro wrestling, All story and no skills, And infact today's wrestling doesn't even have story, its just talking about things that are not even remotely wrestling related (positivity with Bo Dallas, And eating worlds with Bray Wyatt for example). The WWE, Currently has the best talents to work with, and I still have no interest in watching it, Because I know exactly what will happen, Much like the eagerly anticipated Styles versus Cena match at Money in the Bank, A complete abomination of a match, Completely WWE-ified.

It insults me that the fans say that WWE is the best wrestling program out there, When it clearly isn't. Even with the best talents, they are still producing 6 hours of utter waste every week that they call major programming. Even when WWE hired my favourites, Such as Austin Aries and Bobby Roode, I had no intention of watching them in WWE NXT because I've always been let down by the move-sets that they are given and the same old spots that are boring and repetitive, Or the stupid story's and gimmicks they are given.

The late Kent Walton, (Longtime British Wrestling commentator) believed that once wrestling becomes dictated by talking and promos and characters, Pro Wrestling would die, And sadly he was right. I believe that if you ask a modern day fan or even an "Attitude Era" fan what a Full Nelson was, he or she would have no clue, Or couldn't even tell the difference between an arm-bar and a handle-bar.The holds and grappling have completely vanished from WWE, And that is the basic fundamental of any Pro Wrestling match, And pro wrestling period. This is just one of my many rants to come on the WWE, aka World W******* Entertainment, But I hope you see what I'm getting at, And and enjoy reading my views, Thankyou.
